Honor Highlights Fuerst’s Ongoing Commitment to Changing Lives for the Better

WEST COVINA, Calif.—In recognition of his many professional and personal achievements, Success Education Colleges President Mitchell Fuerst was appointed a Knight of the Order of Constantine the Great and Saint Helen. The knighthood, which Fuerst received at the September 22 Investiture at the Waldorf-Astoria in Beverly Hills, also recognizes the President’s unwavering dedication to giving back to the communities the Colleges serve.

Also recognized on this night was Paula Abdul, an American singer, actress, television personality, and Grammy Award winner, who was made a Dame of the Order.

In addition, Toni Braxton, an American singer, songwriter, actress, television personality, seven-time Grammy Award winner, and seven-time American Music Award winner was also recognized as a Dame of the Order during the Investiture.

“I am deeply honored to join the Order of Constantine the Great and Saint Helen,” Fuerst explained. “It is a privilege to come together with such an esteemed group of individuals who share my desire to make a difference in the lives of those around them.”

Founded in 330 AD, the Order is dedicated to the chivalric principles of personal honor, courage, integrity, duty, and service. With a vision to see these values spread, the Order “encourage[s] intellectual rigorousness and recognize[s] exemplary conduct and achievements.”

As President of SEC, Mitchell Fuerst oversees more than 500 Team Members and thousands of students across the nine-campus system of allied health colleges. SEC is thriving as he continues to cast a vision to Educate Students for Success.

President Fuerst is also deeply dedicated to giving back to the surrounding communities and partners with a number of organizations to positively impact local families. Mitchell, his wife, and two children also founded the Fuerst Family Foundation. With an emphasis on empowering those who have been left behind, the foundation provides education for those who cannot afford it, along with care for less fortunate children and the often neglected elderly.

“Every day is an opportunity to make a difference, to help others succeed,” Fuerst shared. “I look forward to seeing the positive impact the Order of Constantine the Great and Saint Helen will continue to have on so many lives as it carries forward its mission of service.”
